Soljai Devi Temple, Devrukh, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri

Soljai Devi Temple is situated in the holy town of Devrukh, in the district of Ratnagiri. Soljai Devi is regarded as a supreme deity of Devrukh and nearby 44 villages. They worship goddess with great fervour. Soljai Devi is the most powerful and beloved goddess.

This temple of Soljai Devi is very grand and beautiful. As you enter the temple premises through a beautifully carved arch, there is a stone lamp in front. Along with Shri Devi Soljai, there are idols of Shri Dev Dhani Akar, Shri Devi Jugai, Shri Dev Kedarling, Shri Dev Vadeshwar, Shri Dev Bhairoba, Shri Devi Mahalakshmi and Shri Devi Redjai.

Festivals like as Gudhipadava, Shravan Pournima, Ghatasthapana, and the Lotangan Yatra on Devdivali, Shimga, are celebrated with great enthusiasm at this temple.

The Soljai Devi Temple, Devrukh lies 322 km south of the state capital of Maharashtra, Mumbai and 45 km from the district headquarters at Ratnagiri, in Western Bharat. It is one of the holy temples where great maratha leader Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj visited many times.
