Kunkeshwar Temple of Devgad is a sacred pilgrimage in Konkan. Kunkeshwar is an ancient Shiva Temple located in Kunkeshwar village of Sindhudurg. This Temple situated on the banks of the sea is a scenic beauty spot for tourists and an awakened religious shrine for the devotees. There are six lamp and large Nandi in front of the Kunkeshwar Temple. This place, which was popularly known from around 1100 century, has been called as the crown and aesthetic beauty of Konkan. There is no such ancient temple like Kunakeshwar anywhere in Konkan.
