Kudaleshwar Temple is situated on a small hillock in Kudal city of Sindhudurg, Maharashtra, India. There is a beautifully carved Dipmal in the front of the temple. Small temples are on the left and right side at the entrance of Sabhamandap. Bhutnath, Malekat, Karhade Brahman and Raulvas are in the left side temple of Baracha Purvas. Right side temple belongs to Barachi Nit.
The sabhamandap of temple is recently renovated. We can see Tarangs on the right side. Seven Tarangs of Mahalaxmi, Baracha Purvas, Kudaleshwar, Pavnai, Bhairav and Jogeshwari are considered to be important. Shri Dev Kudaleshwar are in the innermost part of the temple. Samadevi, Pavanai, Garud Tatve, Chalyacha Adhikari, Pawar Vas, Purvecha Brahman, Mayecha Purvas are also in the sanctum of temple. Shri Dev Someshwar are in the Pindi form.The black stone idol of Shri Kudaleshwar is four feet high.
